“Invasive Species” is EROSION’s long awaited follow up full length to 2018’s “Maximum Suffering” (HYDRA HEAD RECORDS) It was recorded by Jesse Gander (ANCIIENTS, BISON BC, CEREMONIAL BLOODBATH) and mastered by Arthur Rizk (PISSGRAVE, BLOOD INCANTATION).

This record is suffocatingly dark, metallic crusty d-beat HC that steers far from the crust-punk cliches. It recalls early Martyrdöd in that these twelve songs smash your speakers with bottom-end-heavy, impenetrable riffs and a searing vocal rage, pushing a non-stop driving attack. Lyrically, the band offers a blistering observation of humanity’s impact on the natural world and the mindless brutality of said species upon fellow humans.

Vancouver's EROSION return with their first release since 2018's "Maximum Suffering" LP (Hydra Head Records). Expect more crushing and grinding d-beat hardcore and twisted melodies in the early Martyrdod vein. Erosion are sharing a release with Victoria's doomiest and most crushing death metal band, ALTERED DEAD who have been steadily becoming more raw and brutal with each new track as evidenced on their most recent 2021 full length "Returned To Life" (Momento Mori). New material from both bands. ​​​​
